HGAP (Homeless Grant Assistance Program) CSNW's HGAP Team focuses on the most vulnerable segment of Clark County's homeless population:
  • those living on the street or encampments
  • those with mental health and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorders
  • individuals coming from jails and state hospitals
The multi-disciplinary Homeless Outreach Team provides street outreach, rental assistance, landlord outreach, employment, and medical and mental health/substance abuse treatment services for individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We also coordinate system linkages that increase access to crisis services.

Training/Learning Center CSNW's Mental Health Team supports an active training/learning environment for graduate students to thrive and grow clinically. We provide opportunities for students to experience many types of therapies in real-life settings, such as the Wellness Project. A free mental health clinic, the Wellness Project provides mental health services to uninsured adults. All services are provided by volunteers–qualified community professionals–giving interns broad exposure to community behavioral healthcare and an opportunity to perform community service.

CSNW's Educational Partners–Colleges and Universities throughout Washington and Oregon–work closely with CSNW Mental Health to provide unique and valuable "on-the-job" training for MSW graduate students. A partial list includes: Washington State University Vancouver, Portland State University, Eastern Washington University, George Fox University, Concordia University, Lewis and Clark College, and Western Seminary.
